I was just wondering if the % of people here unemployed matches the % of people unemployed in the US.

Does not matter if you were fired, layed off, down sized, quit, reduction in workforce or whatever, unemployed is unemployed. If your working under the table then no your not unemployed.

No you can not see who voted in the poll.

You can't compare both.
The US numbers are "unemployed" looking for work but can't find any.
Your "unemployed" option consists of retired people, people who aren't even looking for work.

I'm 15 and in the middle of sports season... No thanks to the job right now. Assuming I can find one later.
