Check them into a hospital? Easy there Fundamentalist Joe. STD checks are quick processes at your local clinic. The only unpleasant part is the cotton swabbing.

Of course, one might argue that in today's America, where 20-25% of adults have herpes type II, and 33% have HPV, that STDs are virtually unavoidable. Keep in mind this is the total adult population, not just "promiscuous" or "sexually active" adults.
