How many speeding tickets have you received?

I've been driving over 5 years now and have only received 1 violation for running a red light (I was speeding, but the cop let that pass). Talking with others, this seems abnormally low

No ticket as I was going too fast. I was hauled up in court and was bound over for a year.

pulled over three times for speeding. talked my way out of one, got a non-moving violation for another, and one 'speeding ticket'. i've slowed down since... but i've learned if you do happen to get pulled over, just be really sorry and you have a better chance of them being lenient.

3 Tickets in 9 years.

15 over - deserved it, I was doing 60 in a 45, coming into a city.
9 over - I guess speeding is speeding, but I think it has more to do with being out-of-state, having a suspicious looking car, and Oklahoma needing my money. I was not the fastest one in the pack of cars I was travelling in.
18 over - Deserved it, my boss threw me the keys to her '03 Mustang GT. I was ticketed for 73 in a 55. I had been going 85.

Those are nice. I was pulled over a few times in HS, but I was dating the daughter of the head of the SWAT team. She knew all the cops in the area, so those were good times. Fortunately our break-up was due more to the fact that we just liked being friends and hanging out more than dating, so I've never been harassed because of it.

any of you got serious driving violations? I got a DTE, a $760 "speeding ticket" and beat one dui. Im all grown up now and have become wiser since being in a coma from the dui. the $760 was for pulling wheelies down the highway

Fun fact: When the real Cannonball Runs were going on, more than 50% of the tickets were recieved near the California/Nevada boarder.

I suppose. He's a good guy, and we are still friends to this day. He comes out wakeboarding with me sometimes in the summer, although he really just prefers to drive our boat more than anything.
