I've reduced my home fleet. I'm only producing 90 - 100 a day from home

I am getting about 18-22 at home.

1-Barton 2500 @ 2088
1-XP1800
1-Tbird1000
1-P3-800

I have more I could run but no cases/PSU's. (Celery 333, P3-550, P3-600)

Approx 35-40 depending on laptop output...

P4-2.4C @ 3.2 = 14
P4-2.4B @ 2.9 = 12
P4-1.6A @ 2.1 = 7
P3-1.2 Laptop = 4
P2-500 Laptop = 2

I might upgrade my 2.4B to a 2.4C and put my 2.4B in place of my 1.6A. By my count I'd get another 6-7 WU/day. All 5 of these systems are running in a small 2nd bedroom at my place and it gets real warm in there. Can't wait for the Winter season here in Florida!

Zero.

I don't even have a PC at home. I built the wife one a few years ago but I'm not allowed to touch it unless something's wrong with it. :disgust:

You need to tell her straight 'I built that rig for us & I'm putting SETI on it whether you like it or not'

Smokeball
OMG that's a massive leccy bill!:Q
Nice output from home though!

1700+ palimino OC'd to 2100+ speed puts out around 8-9WU's
2200+ athlon M puts out around 7-8WU's
933 P3 puts out around 4.25WU's

20-22 from home
If I can find a place for my work laptop I can add .5 WU per day from home(166PentiumMMX)

and a
2500+ barton at my wifes office puts out around 6-9WU's (She shuts off seti sometimes when she's working)

How do you manage to get 4hrs/WU (24/6) from a PIII 933?

I had one at 1015MHz & that did it in 6.25hrs ,though a BX or 815 chipset rig would of been a little faster

4 units from the house is about average. The rest are from friends, family and work.

My wife does not understand the Seti thing and put up with me running Seti for over a year and a half. She basically would start turning of the machines when ever she had a chance so instead of fighting the war I have left my home fleet off which would produce around 18 units a day I do have one PC that runs pretty quiet so it does stay on all the time When she is out of town on business then the whole fleet is a crunching.

LOL, you keep harping on my little P3 box...I have no Idea why it crunches at that speed, but that's how many it puts out, It's not oc'd at all(the mobo doesn't even support oc'ing), I have no idea what the chipset is, (the mobo is only 8 months old) and it's only got 1 stick of 256MB pc2100 on it.

PIV 2.6c : 12 WU/day
Athlon 1800+ : 6 WU/day
C466 : 1 per day
C600 : 1 per week
Duron 1200 : not crunching SETI

So I'm around 19 WU/day at home.

You don't know how many times I have thought of doing the same thing.....there are only so many rooms to fill...and so many chairs to hide them behind!

I'm at work right now, so I can't give specifics on each rig, but basically I've been averaging around 40 to 45 per day from the home fleet.

not enough. not enough by a long shot.....

Right now, the only thing I have running at home is the dual PII450 server, as my main rig is having some lockup issues when I run SETI, it's either heat or memory, just haven't had the time lately to check it out.

I've got 3 at home... and XP1800, 1900, and 2100. Those give me about 18 WUs from home. At work squirreled away in empty cubes are a variety of boxes that I have built and own that give me another ~70/day... and, no, the wife doesn't know about them!!!

My power bill last month was $858.67 ... ouch! :frown:

Are those all Pentium 4s with HT? If not, you're probably running over a dozen computers. You're utility company must love you as a customer

Buwhahahaha!

Smokeball....I know that you have a bunch of PC's....but they must be Pentium 133's to get that many WU's and that much electricity! :Q

Or you have 20 - 20inch monitors running 24/7 with them (CRT - Not LCD).

/Engineer recommends to Smokeball to get CF light bulbs....may save you a ton!

I'm not currently running SETI so I'm not sure how many WUs I would do. Figure I could get 40WU/day if they were all running SETI except the one my brother won't let me run it on. Here is the list:

1 - P3 450
1 - P3 933
1 - Athlon 700
1 - Dual XP1800+
1 - XP2000+
1 - PM 1500
1 - P3 500 (not ccurrently running but may be soon)
1 - P4 1800 (brother won't let me run DC on it)

hehe ,that's cos you didn't answer us last time
Btw ,I think your really getting muddled here ,unless its got the very rare VIA DDR chipset the PIII was almost never paired on a DDR mbrd.I really think you haven't got a std PIII 933 there as there's no way it could do WUs in 4hrs ,a PIIIS 1.4GHz Tualie (512k L2) could do that with a bunch of VHAR WUs.I'm not saying you are BSing us just I think you have more under the hood of that thing than you thought

My total F@H production is about 450 points / week right now, so in theory (MHz for MHz) my home fleet produces 1230/1613 of my total production, or 343.15 points / week or approximately 50 points per day. In reality, the remote Celeron is not as efficient as the AMD processors of the home fleet, so I suspect that my home fleet production is a slightly higher percentage of the total than what I have calculated above.
On F@H i average between 125-250points/day. It relaly depends when the server updates and when my wokr units are done. sometimes i send em in in a bunch and do like 30one day, and then 480 the next.

I'm only running my 2 HT CPU's... Getting around 30... I got 5 1800 AMD boards that could be crunching but........ Only one circut in the 3rd bedroom (seti room) and it takes up too much juice. I think maybe a ups would do it but... I don't know. I guess I am just lazy since I think 30 units a day is good enough even tho I could be doing 60-70 a day. I suppose. Sigh. 2 2200 & 1 2400

I'm thinking about selling some 1800's....... anyone interested in buying any ??? With or with out RAM? RETAIL/CPU and Board for 69 bucks plus shipping. Can even with Power Supply. Fully buned in using seti for about 1 month.

Let me know. They will kick out 6-7 units a day.
