I've been migraine free since I made a religous effort to limit caffeine, drink plenty of water, get 8 hours of sleep, continue to stay active, and reduce my stress level as much as I have power over.

So how about you have a nice tall cool glass of STFU and have a good day.

I don't recall telling you what you suffer from dumbass...I said you don't understand the difference between the two. Maybe as well as learning about the differences between those two afflictions, you should take a remedial reading comprehension course...it couldn't hurt.

No, having an affliction does not mean you automatically understand it...they are mutually exclusive. If you are saying you have migraines so you understand, then why were you surprised he was taking codeine for a "headache" as you called it?

One would think if you knew the difference, you would have maybe said something like "who takes codeine for migraines anyway"...but then again, if you understood them, you wouldn't be surprised...

I rarely use drug for pain, unless it is extremely uncomfortable because the drug becomes less & less affective as the body gets use to it.

Depends on where the sources but most suggested below 50-60mg per usage, max dosage is 250mg, and death occurs anywhere between 500-800mg.

it is impossible to overdose on codeine. The body cant turn it into morphine fast enough. however, if you eat like 1000000 of them you will die of histimine reaction.



Its the apap in the pill that is dangours in large amounts.

learn the cold water extraction. it is literally the easiest most basic extraction around. and it may save your life.

If youre taking APAP/Codeine it is VERY VERY harmful to take over the normal dosage.

They are talking about taking Tylenol off the market because of its horrible effects on the liver that occur when morons take over the reccomended dose.

They've even got an ad campaign now with the CEO saying "if you need more than the reccomended dose, dont take tylenol, see a doctor, we dont care about lost sales".

I do. I take tylenol 1's (300mg tylenol, 15mg caffeine, 8mg codeine) for headaches all the time. I find 3 of them work way better than 4-6 tylenol extra strength.

Uhh 2400mg acetaminophen for one day is not harmful. Keep it up for a few months while increasing to 6000mg+, and drink beers on it daily, then you're probably looking at pretty harmful damage to the liver or other parts. But really I seen the APAP-thing blown out of proportion often.

As for the OP, at 200mg codeine as well as the APAP and caffeine... I don't think you'll get much if any more relief from the codeine pills. Generally after 300mg it becomes much less effective and the side effects get bad. So if your migraine still hasn't subsided you'll need to find something else to help you. If its very bothersome you would be okay with taking a few more today but don't make a habit out of it.


And Sampson, that's fvcking hardcore. I thought my buddies ~17-18 7.5/750 hydros in a day was bad. Well they are close anyway! That much tylenol can't be good, even if just for one day.

I had 3 migraines a week for around 9 or so months. I never once took Codeine, Tylenol T3's, Vicodine or Morph. After a while you start to get used to them and they don't bother you as much. An addiciton to pain killers is not what I'm after.

But hey, everyone's different. I can't personally say that I know how bad you had it.

Of course, its the only good drug I've ever had. For all I know its the same darn thing as the Tylenol, but it sure worked a lot better.

When I left the Navy I went right into a government contract job, never had time to experiment. Which was a shame, I was in the Mojave Desert at the time and supposedly they have awesome stuff out there.
