How much did you guys pay for your tints?

What's the visibility difference between ceramic and non-ceramic?

Also, how do you guys find 20% tint in parking lots and backing up?
I've been thinking about doing 35% all around for visibility, but I'd like the way 20% would look.

If you have any friends, see if you can ride in their car at night and ask what tint they have. I have 30% all the way around and I think that's already too dark for night if there's no street lights out.

I've had my last two cars tinted. The place I got it from is $200 something but they us Llumar film which holds up really well.
On my current car I have 35% sides, 20% rear and a 5% band on the top of the windshield. I don't have any problems seeing at night.
It really helps to keep the car cool and reduce sunlight in my eyes

$100 for front windows, 15% on both to match the rear windows and camper shell windows.

I have 5% for the back 3 and 20% for the front two and I think its fine but I'm used to it.

Thinking about doing a clear uv blocking windshield tint. These lumnars are amazing. They block out so much heat but now I can feel all of the heat through the windshield.

Ours came from the factory with 16 on the mid-side, rear side, and rear window. Fronts are barely done at 75. But doesn't bother me much and have no inclination to darken the fronts at all.

And installation of tints, with lifetime warranty.

I'm thinking of having some put on here in Dallas before heading back to TheMiddleofNoWhere (IA). Anyone know any good shops?

It's some of the best tint available. If you can afford it, get it. That is what I'm going to use on my car.

Ventureshield, which 3M bought out awhile ago. Cost was $600 which included full front bumper, fenders, side mirrors, and partial hood. Place I went to had great reviews and they did a terrific job.

type of car matters as well. some cars are a true bitch to tint, others are a breeze. the hard to tint cars cost a bit more due to extra labor, and darker than legal costs more as well.

i see most 4 doors going for 175 to 225 tho

SF Bay Area - 250ish front and rears on a Mazda3 hatch.
I think i got 10s on the back and it's waay dark at night but you get used to it. sucks that you can't make out the make/model of a car at night.

Kinda thinking I should of went 15% instead of 20% for my front two. Its not as dark as my last car since the interior is grey compared to black. I miss it being almost pitch black.

Good stuff, but really pricey.

I had thought about doing the Huper Optik, but it was about 200 more than the Formula One Pinnacle stuff I went with. Which was about 250ish OTD. That also included removal of the old tint, so it probably would have been about 2-225ish.

Went with 35% on the front windows (legal limit) and 20% on everything else (sun visor too). Has a lifetime warranty, so I might go back and have them swap to 20% on the fronts.

Huper Optik is pricey. I was quoted $550 for my G37 coupe.

That's about right. They quoted me ~$500 for my Mustang. Great tint though.
