about $125 for mine in the socal area. Great place and reputation. all around except for front. only thing is usually there's a really long wait but I got there before it opened and was 4th in line.

$125/ea for mine (MR2 and Forester were done about a year or 1.5 years ago). I'll probably have a friend of mine do my Tacoma for ~$60.

I've seen it as low as $135, but the guy I usually use charges $185 for standard tint on 5 windows, $235 for ceramic. When the car doesn't have a HUD I do a clear ceramic on the windshield that cuts back on the UV rays and helps keep the glare down. That's another $100.

I have 20% on my DD's. A cop I know told me that they generally won't pull someone over for 15% tint, when he sees really dark tint, 5% or so, you're getting pulled over and are asked to scrape the driver & passenger window on the spot. - if he sees any tint on the windshield and you are getting pulled over, getting a ticket & will be scraping if you want to drive away.

i got ceramic tints for around $230, accord coupe. looks great

a month back I decided to get 60% tints on my front windshield with 3M Crystalline tint to block out heat coming in from the windshield. it's a premium product and it cost me $250 installed. definitely worth it IMO especially if you have a darker car.

I just paid $175 for sides and rear windshield a week ago. I went legal for the front windows (50% here) and 35% on the rear three.

I never wanted to own a silver car but the tint makes it look a bit better and I can usually pick it out in the sea of silver cars in a lot/garage.

I'm certain there were issues involving liability (and them wanting to make some extra $$$ because they felt they could). Many places wouldn't touch it, though.

For $200 I'd totally get my windows tinted. Unfortunately, the great state of New Jersey doesn't allow tint on the front side windows, so I'm thinking it might look a little dumb...

I have 5% for the back 3 and 20% for the front two and I think its fine but I'm used to it.

Thinking about doing a clear uv blocking windshield tint. These lumnars are amazing. They block out so much heat but now I can feel all of the heat through the windshield.

anyone have comments on this? I have the same problem. The tint absorbs all the sunlight and heats the windows to the point that they just become a blackbody radiation source in place of the sun.

For the Wrx I got expensive tints, Formula 1 pinnacle 15% all around and I have llumar front windshield tint for heat (its clear)


The tints work very well, the front windshield tint is not liking my radar detector but it isn't terrible. It works OK over the dot matrix I have some spots here and there.

Neither does California. We just deal with the fix it tickets when cops don't meet their quota.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that. Many have asked and AFAIK he's never delivered.
