The only reason I can see moving far away from home is to go to a school for a specific degree. Usually, that means you know what you want, and how to get it. Which means getting a job after school should be no problem. Why move home?
Ohhhhh... I know why. Because the person is another one of these college panseys who moves away to some university *just* to get away from home. They don't know jack sh|t... they invade some university.. do nothing but piss off the locals... get some BS degree then move back home to mommys house. GG.
I see these people all over my university. You can spot them from 100 meters out. Let me put it this way. The majority of students at my university (CSU system, not UC) are from "out of the service area". The two most prevalent degrees are communications and business. The frats have an average GPA of 2.48. The majority of bicycle riders do not understand basic traffic laws. The pedestrians flocking from their dorm halls haven't the common sense to look both ways before crossing the street. Just getting to class from my apartment is like riding through a warzone.
The stupidity I see on campus is utterly amazing. This place is like high school all over again. It is a complete and absolute JOKE. The instructors I have this year (Calc2, chem phys) are NICE, but they can't teach worth a damn. I would be shocked if the other CSU (california state university) universites are as bad as this one. UC (university california) schools (Davis, Sac) seem to have much greater quality of students and hopefully instructors. Of course, they are close to twice as expensive, I think.
It's a good thing I qualify for financial aid, because it would be very hard for me to spend another dime on this piece of garbage school.
In conclusion, this world is FVCKED. My advice, find something you enjoy.. and do it. Have no pity for all the retards who can't get their act together.
