$58 a month after taxes and everything. I'm tempted to cut it off and switch to slower DSL simply because their pricing is bad now. This is Charter and they had me locked at $35/month for a long time....that promotion ended and now, because I don't bundle, I'm getting ripped off.

I just want something that is going to be fast enough for lag-free Xbox live & good enough for solid VPN/RDP connections to work.

$64 after taxes for 30/5. I feel it's kind of high and could probably negotiate a discount but I'm too lazy to call. I don't have tv or home phone bill and the only discount I see online is if you bundle.

$24.80 unlimited VZW lte data package on my phone. Actually free cause employer reimburses me. Speed varies from like 1mbps to 55mbps tho. Unfortunately it's at the lower end of the spectrum at home. Best I can do tho besides ripoff att 6mbps dsl.

$56.99 for 16Mbps down/ 1Mbps up.

Thinking strongly about dropping back to the $14.99 for 2Mbps down/1Mbps up package. Prices are too damn high here and no real competition. (TWC).

Around $70/mo for 50/5. And we keep hitting the cap because we have 3 kids and we're all gamers. I'm interested to see how this cap BS is going to work when people start streaming 4K....300gb isn't going to last very long.

The whole bill is $111/mo taxes included. That's for 15/1 internet with unlimited data, plus home phone. I get unlimited North America wide long distance, voice mail, call waiting, and call display. I'm upgrading the internet to 25/10 next month. I want to do some podcasting and stuff. Actually works out to be the same price.

$45/mo for 15mps D/L, I think 1mps upload (Earthlink-Time Warner), no cap. Time Warner tried to get me to dump Earthlink and do it as Time Warner directly, for a savings of $1/month for the first six months. This was just after they mailed out rate increases to everybody back in March, and told me that Earthlink customer or not I would have to start paying a $6/mo modem rental fee, or get my own (got my own, obviously).

Sounds like Bell or Teksaavy.

I wanted to use DSL, but the lines in my place are so damn old they'd have to do a complete upgrade. Twenty year old cable drop has always been RG6 though. That 10 up would be really nice though -- took me way too long to upload 2 minute videos to YouTube.

No, you won't be able to pay any less if you call, most likely.

$52 for 15/1 from Time Warner.

Kind of pricy, but Comcast and Time Warner are merging together to offer me more choices and the highest in consumer satisfaction. So it can surely only get better/cheaper.

Yes, esp with Comcast's people working in FCC, the merger is sure to go ahead. That will also help you with data caps, so you can be better able to restrain your internet usage. If you are not able to do so, you'd only be contributing to the national economy and creating more jobs. Win win situation.

MySignal. They're a bit of a Mickey Mouse outfit but their customer service is pretty good and it's been reliable for the most part. That's unless Bell starts dicking around in the junction box. Bell upgraded the system to fiber-to-neighbourhood last year so the latency is much better.

I used to have Cogeco Turbo 14. Same price per month but only a 125GB cap (was 80 at the time I dumped them). I easily go over that binge watching on Netflix. Cogeco does now have unlimited packages in both 55 and 120mbps speed tiers. Expensive though. Way more than I need. Might consider it when I move since I don't personally need a home phone.

$29.99 for 25 Mbps with Comcast. Just got it this week after ten years of ATT's 3 Mbps copper wire DSL. Got a free coupon for Watch Dogs. Would have taken about 14 hours to download with the old DSL. Took an 1.45 hours with the new cable DSL. A lot of you have much faster, its seems so fast to me compared to what I had.

FIOS bundled, but I figure around $50 for 50/25. Along with the bundle discount, I get another few discounts.

$55 a month in NJ with Optimum for 50 down 25 up. speeds are consistently 60 down and 25 up on Speedtest.

Optimum also doesn't throttle Netflix bandwidth - they consistently rate near the top for Netflix speed.
