Spectrum is probably just as bad as Comcast, but they get much less press coverage. I'm a little surprised some people have posted decent rates from Spectrum in this thread (albeit service offerings are regional). They are inflexible and outside of first year promos, I believe their minimum offering is at last $60 per month.Wait, wait, you have a double-play, with Internet and TV?
Or just straight-up Internet ONLY?
And they raised their rates on internet only, $5/mo, because of negotiations with TV providers?
What a load of Shenanigans.
Having said that, if you are grandfathered into ELP (Everyday Low Price) from Time Warner Cable, it's not that bad. Although they recently bumped the price up to $20 per month (higher in some areas), downstream is now 20 Mbps, which is much better than it used to be (3 Mbps).
