$0. One of my garages houses my gym. I have a treadmill, rower, squat rack, pull-up bar attached to the ceiling joists, deadlift platform I just built, portable AC, some fans, and TV hooked up with Directv, along with all my free weights and two sets of selectable dumbbells. I am getting rid of my vertical leg press and back machine to give me some more room, but otherwise, I have everything I need and plenty of room to work. Oh, and I don't have to wait for anyone or wipe their sweat off.

To those harping on the $185 / month - if I had to guess I'd assume that comes with some sort of training or coaching or classes, yes? If so it's not *that* outrageous. I paid more than twice that when I worked out at a small, private powerlifting gym that included unlimited coaching.
$20 a year for 24Hr Fitness.
That sounded too good to be true for a warranty to cover normal wear and tear and crashes for 5 years so I looked it up, it doesn't cover those things:
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
-Normal wear and tear
-Improper assembly
-Improper follow-up maintenance
-Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold
-Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
-Labor charges for part replacement or changeover

Having wrecked my Cannondale due to car accident, I would have considered a Trek if they did have such a 5 year warranty.
Would love to know your secret. I know that you can buy a 2-year membership from Costco for $370, or $15 a month. I've gotten Groupon deals for Powerhouse Gym for $10 a month, but nothing anywhere near $20 a year.
24 Hour Fitness doesn't offer these deals anymore..around 6 or 7 years ago, they had deals where you paid $800-$1000 for a 3 year membership (which usually included 6 or so hours of personal trainer sessions)...once the 3 years was up, you just paid a pretty cheap annual fee...
I did this 7 years ago...after my 3 year membership for $799 ended, I have been paying $32/year for the past 4 years...
I was told that they keep the price high so they discourage the riff raff from going there.
