I believe Anand makes around $1.2 million to $1.5 million a year from all the advertisements, but he doesn't get to keep everything since he has to pay his editors and the regular expenses of the company. I was at CES this year and actually got to talk to someone from AnandTech and he disclosed this info. to me.

By the way, Anand is not a kid. He is certainly more mature than you, so don't flatter yourself. You get to read top class reviews at AnandTech and by viewing the banners, that's the least we can do. Anand has the right to make money from AnandTech.
