How much does it cost for your health insurance from your work?

no company insurance. everyone gets UP TO $300 a month as reimbursement, provided that once a year you show a bill for that amount (or if its less than 300, and you increase coverage, you show the new bill).

me and 2 kids with meh medical and basic dental is $350/month. im job hunting, hoping wherever i end up will have something better.

I used to have a $0 plan but it didn't include certain things like ER visits. I had to pay $800 to get my stomach checked out once. That's why I switched from a free PPO to HIP. How about yours?

Yeah the $2 fee is a joke. I max my contributions every year and almost max out my distributions as well, so for me it is still worth it.

me too! Its not great insurance as my fellow employees complain about it.

Ours is pretty good and our employer switched us to a high deductible plan a couple of years ago and then gave everyone raises equal to the deductible (on top of our normal raises).

My insurance is something like $330 per year. It's awesome because it has no maximum on dental, and it covers 100% of prescription drugs.

that 33k sounds high but maybe it's just me. i pay 10%, company pays 90% roughly when looking at cobra rates. full cobra coverage on the best plan we have is about 20k/year for family
