That's a cost of keeping that employee employed. You need him/her to be alert, awake and if possible happy. Giving them time off (even if it costs you quite a bit) is a part of that.

My country has an executive formed by 7 equals and they just have a driver and a few security guards at most. They have a plane but I don't think they can use it for holidays.
No motorcades or that sort of stuff.

So the security expenses go up.
