i didn't have a land line for 2-3 years, only reason we got one now is we switched to DSL for internet and the 'package' is cheapest we can get

Call your DSL provider up and ask them if they have a "naked" DSL package, i.e. DSL without phone line. You will pay a bit more, in my case, $5 on top of the DSL fee but overall, it will be cheaper than regular DSL with landline.

Currently - nothing, cell phone provided by my employer [Crackberry for emails, calls, etc].

Work use to pay for home internet - but stopped when the recession hit.

When I did have my own personal cell phone, it was about $70 a month [crackberry personal unlimited data, 200 sms/text msgs, 450 anytime minutes].

~$110 after taxes/fees with 23% corp discount on Sprint.

Everything Data Family Plan:
- 2 lines
- 1500 shared anytime
- Unlimited any mobile
- Unlimited message & data

Was paying ~$90 per month with Unlimited everything with Cricket...but their coverage sucks and service is generally unreliable (moved to a new area of town). It also really sucked to venture 5ft out of the metro area and suddenly have no coverage.

$86.32/mo with T-mobile for a Mytouch 3G. 29.99 for 300 minutes and 34.99 for the Android data plus taxes and fees.

Too much for a single line, but t-mobile is being a shit about letting me change to the 59.99 EM+ talk/text/web without an ETF which is what they're supposed to do.

Zero. I'm using Pageplus Cellular pay as you go. It's around 8 cents/minute. Never expiring minutes, and I have to buy at least $10 worth every 120 days. Plus there's a charge of $0.50/month. They use the same towers/network as Verizon so I have the same coverage I used to have. Plus I can still use my old LG cell phone. It's saving me around $250/year for basically the same service. I was paying almost $30/mo. regardless of usage.

$54 for my wife and I, we both have palm pres. 500 minutes each, insurance on the phone and unlimited text/data. Also, we become eligible for all the upgrade incentives every year rather than every two. My brother works for sprint and gets amazing deals for relatives.

That's pretty sweet - were phones included?

It's verizon and they have the free/cheap phones w/ the 2year contracts (going on over 5 years now) and we take advantage of the new-every-two. It definitely is pretty good considering taxes usually kill ya. We actually use the in-calling a lot so the minutes aren't a factor.
