How much money did you spend this Christmas?

This year did some serious damage to the wallet:

Girlfriend $700 - necklace, pier1 stuff
Her mom $50 - foot massage thing

Mom $100 - clothes
Dad $100 - Norelco 'GOO' shaver
Brother $50 - video games

Grandma $40 - collectable angel thing she's into
Grandpa $50 - carhartt coat

Total $ 1090:Q.... ouch, so how bad/good did you do this year?

HHmmmm, I haven't finished my shopping.... But here's what I got so far (btw - I'm on a high schoolers budget):

Mom - Panasonic DVD player - $169 (with SOME help from my stepfather)
Best Friend (girl) - Abercrombie Boxers - $20
Dad - Cocacola Calender and vintage Tin sign - $30

I still have to shop for my Step mom and Step Dad, sister, and other best friend (guy). I hope some stores are open tomorrow

i was lazy to shop for the entire family (7 in all), so i just got a nice little home theater system for everyone to enjoy. it's one of those HTiB setups. i think all together around $525 including some wires/satalite speaker stands.

$1000 for my new comptuter (desktop, in my sig)
$1200 for my brothers new computer (notebook)
$0400 for my sisters stuff (high est.)
$0200 for other people

Not a whole lot, I spent $800 building my gf a PC for school, she said I couldn't spend much on her. Plus I built my parents a PC as well (a lot of my parts when I upgraded to my Tiger MP + $250 or so of new parts), so all I'm doing for them is paying ISP costs for a year.

So as far as actual gift costs:

girlfriend: $75
Brother: $55
Sister: $50 or so, she wants Democracy in America so I still need to get that
Other people + AT SS: $100

That about covers it.

Viper GTS <-- Will spend several hundred more in PA, but not specifically on Christmas stuff

A little under $1700. The engagement ring was a special occasion though, and this is about 10x more than what I would normally spend

My parents and I both built/bought new houses this year, so funds are a little tight.
