To me, wealthy is right below rich. I believe it's gaged by assets, not necessarily income. However, you'd likely have a fair income to be rich or wealthy in assets.

Yeah, where I live 100k/yr isn't rich. It's doing well, far from rich (S.F. Bay Area).

Yeah, SF Bay area is definitely a different world from much of the rest of the country. In a place like Menlo Park, Woodside or Atherton, a one million-dollar home will practically be a shack. 10 mil from tech stocks in Menlo/Atherton? Middle class
