I'm a big fan of seltzer too. I guess my current favorite is white chocolate. It kind of tastes like cream soda. My goto flavor is orange, but if I want to spend money on a flavored water, I like Perrier grapefruit.

I had Sanpellegrino blood orange for the first time ever this past summer, that stuff was the bomb! Didn't really like the other flavors & don't like any other kinds of sparkling waters or seltzers tho. Here in New England, drinking seltzer/tonic water is super popular. The only thing I like the plain water flavor for is adding to orange juice, just to make it more fun to drink.

I like that it isn't sweet, but has flavor, and throat burn. I used to drink tons of soda, but I can hardly stand it anymore. I get plain water when I eat out, and never get it for the house. I'll drink the occasional Coke at my mother's house in a 8oz bottle, and that's perfect for me. I get the taste, without a ton of sugar. That's a far cry from my old ways when I'd fill my 44oz+ cup with Coke a minimum of twice per day, and sometimes 3 times. Sugar really is "addictive". You get used to eating a lot, and don't realize how ridiculous the quantities are until you stop, and reset your system.

Sugar = soda, sweets, baked goods, pasta, cigarettes (seriously, look it up), alcohol...everything edible that is addictive seems to break down into sugar and make us addicts. It's amazing!

On Friday's I have about 4 oz of the lemonade at Chipotle and the rest is ice tea. No soda though.

I hardly ever drink soda unless its the only choice. I live on iced tea. Often sweetened, so I suppose that's almost as bad as soda sugar-wise. Better for your teeth though. I understand carbonic acid is really bad for them.

Why do I suspect you guys are full of shit because coke sales aren't as dismal as this board would imply

Alright who is on their high horse?

When it comes to soda I can down a 2-liter in one day (if someone else buys it) but I generally never buy it. That doesn't mean I don't put some soda away when its available :awe:

Zero. I just dont drink soda. If i drink anything its water, sweet tea, vitawater, poweraide, or milk. Im cheap is my main reason so i primarily drink water and milk.

I will occasionally have a root beer float in the summer or a crown and coke if out with friends. But other than that i dont really drink soda at all.

Occasionally I'll indulge in a fridge pack and have 1-3 cans/day for a week or two, but that's maybe 3 times a year. All other times I restrict my soda drinking to eating out with friends/family, and even then not so much.

So my diet is about 90% soda free over the course of any given year. I typically use fruit juice of some variety to satisfy a sugar craving.

Oh, and I will NEVER drink diet soda of any variety. I don't care how far it's come, it's freaking health food and is therefore designed for diabetics, senile old coots and women. :awe: In all seriousness, I've never understood the point of "health food". Just eat healthy most of the time and treat yourself 1-3 times a week, no need for that watered down, sugar-free, reduced-fat, made with definitely-believe-its-not-butter "health" cake. I'd much rather have the real deal once a week than eat that shit every day.

That's my philosophy. I eat salads most days for lunch, smoothies (oats, berries, fish oil, olive oil, avocado, peanutbutter) for breakfast, and healthy dinners (usually whole grain carb, veggies, and a lean mean) for dinner.

Then once or twice a week I gorge on something unhealthy like a cheeseburger and fries or pizza or something like that.

Very seldom because of my health. The dietitian forbade drinking soda, coffee and his advice was plenty water instead of soda, juice and tea or coffee. Simple water boosts our metabolism.

I probably drink about 10 or 20 per year.
Mostly gazosa, that's kinda like ginger ale but with citrus flavour instead. Mostly lemon or cedar.

I'll have a very occasional soda. A few times a year. The rest of the time it's unsweetened Iced Tea, Black Coffee/tea, Seltzer or just water. Never any diet stuff. I'll occasionally have a rum and coke, but not often.

None of this is because of health concerns or paranoia over Artificial sweeteners or HFCS. I simply don't like the aftertaste of the artificial stuff and I just like the taste of unsweetened drinks better.

I do not drink any "soda"
There is baking soda in the freezer which helps to stop it from smelling.

I drink some pop, but not very much.
Grape pop maybe 4 or 5 times per year.
RC or Coke maybe 4 or 5 times yearly (whenever I drink Rum or Whiskey)
Orange pop maybe 4 or 5 times per year.
Root Beer maybe twice per month.

So the total sum of all pops, approx 1 case of 24 bottles/cans.

Almost none. If I were to average it out on a per week basis (because of the OP) I'd say I average about 1/20 a can per week. Although I probably ruined that average because I was dragging ass so hard at work last week I had a Pepsi Max. Woops...

At least 3 cases of Coke (diet splenda, diet or cherry zero) a week. I also drink at least 64oz of water a day.

Zero. I only drink water and peppermint tea these days and maybe the occasional can of coconut water. Never really been a soda pop guy.

Less than 8 oz/week. I used to drink a lot of soda but when I got to high school I realized it wasn't worth it health-wise so I stopped altogether. After I turned 21 I now drink cola with whiskey/rum but I have less than one drink per week.

I have maybe one can of soda every 2 weeks.

Usually it is beet sugar Cherry Coke when I watch a movie@home. With popcorn, naturally.

How can someone drink a can or more of soda a day? That is disgusting. I nearly vomit when I see my coworker drinking 2 cans a day.
