Yes this is not the first time this has been asked but I thought it would be fun to do it again seeing how cheap drives are now. For the purposes of this poll here are the rules for counting storage:
-----
I now have 2TB after installing the iomega 1TB external drive I got for Christmas. I have another computer sitting besides me here that is not in use that I think has another 500 GB in it.
- If you have multiple PCs or MACs at home don't add them together. Just choose the one with the most storage. You may mention how much you have in total by replying to the thread
- RAID arrays count NO MATTER the type of array. Just add up the capacity of all the drives in the array.
- External drives count but only if they are in use and attached to the home PC that you are counting
- Laptops don't count. Again look at #1, just choose the single computer that has the most storage in your home, don't add them all together.
- This is just your HOME PC.
