How much tv do you watch? What do you pay?

I'm at about 3 hours a week now. The 3 hours is football on Sunday. I watch the Dallas cowboys game then turn tv back off for the week. I just cancelled Netflix yesterday after finishing Stranger Things. It was the only thing I've watched since Game of Thrones went off air. I find myself enjoying silence at home and walking to the backyard and sitting while listening to whatever happens outdoors. Just curious about your tv habits? For those that watch massive amounts of tv (a hour plus a day) how do you find the time?
I'm not paying for any tv service atm. No netflix, sling, etc.

I pretty much have TV on from the minute I get home (4pm ish) until I go to sleep at night. Even if I'm not watching it, it's background noise going on in the house.

I actually watch stuff that I pay 100% attention to probably 6 hours or so a week, outside of watching Football. That itself is over 6 hours.

I don't consider Netflix/Gaming/Movies watching TV either. If I did then that number would go up quite a bit

Zero and zero, since Netflix doesn't count. I can't imagine putting up with paying someone to advertise to me 25% of the time.

I've got an antenna and SlingTV for football, plus Netflix and Hulu.

That's $8 + $8 + $30, so $46.

Over the air TV. I have a rabbit ear amplified antenna. Cost is $0.00 a day, a month and a year. I get about 45 channels. I block 5 spanish speaking only stations, 3 evangelical stations, 1 channel entirely for kids and 3 shopping channels. So I net almost 30 stations. Of course some are duplicates. I do miss the hobby train channel and the fireplace channel that you can get with the super premium package for $200 a month with fiber optics.

I pay for Amazon Prime and Netflix. With Kodi addons and OTA I am completely covered.

We did that growing up. The tv on till bedtime deal. What was weird is how uncomfortable silence was to us growing up. Now the tv annoys me so I keep it off.

I do not have any TV or online TV service. I only have a rabbit antenna for the local news and shows on the networks such as Big Bang Theory, college and pro football games and such.

I only watch what I can find for free online. Typically 3-5 on-demand shows any given week. So 3-6 hours weekly. It's really nice to not be tied to a broadcast schedule. I catch baseball on the radio so I don't have to plant myself in front of a tv for the duration of a game.

I'm the type who hits "MUTE" on the pc the moment commercials load. Same on radio. So, between that and my Adblock there's little way for advertisers to reach me, except through signage / paper.

If you don't count streaming services, zero. No service.

If you do count them, quite a bit. I watch tv when I workout at home, which is usually at least 8 hours a week, often much more. I also watch a few shows with my wife. Star Trek Enterprise, Westworld, Brooklyn 99 right now, plus GoT, Last week tonight sometimes, and probably a few others. I watch probably 2 hrs a week of youtube as well.

I think I watch way too much, but when working out that's non-negotiable. treadmill running and biking is too dull otherwise. Currently working my way through 24 while working out. Makes for good workout tv. CTU!

Netflix + Amazon Prime are our only paid video services. We have no cable.

Maybe an hour a day, plus I'd guess three to six hours of football over the course of the week, depending on the games. Some NBA games, mostly during the playoffs. Plus a movie or two each week.

I'll put on some background music occasionally during dinner, or in the mornings while washing up, or while doing housework. More and more, though, I appreciate the quiet.
