That actually looks very unstable, and being in India, I'd definitely be weary of it.

Probably does not even have a bathroom. :awe: Indian people don't believe in private bathrooms. They just do it wherever.

For me probably about a million, perhaps less. Take about 100k, put it in an easily accessible high interest savings account and live off that. Put the rest in some kind of guaranteed investment. Even if the interest is not THAT great, with that much money it will build fairly fast. I'd also move to a cottage area to get lower property taxes, and I've always liked nature, so it would be awesome to actually live in it all the time.

The hardest thing would be no internet, but with this kind of money I could always work out a deal with any telco that has fiber running near the area. :biggrin: Need a place to pop a repeater site? Give me 10/10 uncapped fiber internet, and I'll let you plop it on my property and even provide you with power.

I'd of course make sure my property is big enough so I can put up wind turbines and solar panels. The more stuff I can sustain on my own, the less bills there are to pay, so I could make this money last and grow. Could also buy a couple properties in the city to rent out.

In fact I'd even say I could probably quit with 500k, if I'm smart about it. Though in all reality if I did win money think I'd keep my job anyway as it at least gets me out of the house. Then again, so would owning a cottage in nature.

There are many, many things I'd like to do in my life and a lot of those would take significant investments. Since I'd be unable to recuperate any expenditures, and I'll have a lot of free time, I have to make sure I can afford these things up front. Ideally I'd like to be able to afford to fly first class and travel the world, stay in nice hotels, and party hard. I'd like to come home to my dream home, and take my dream car out for a spin, then go to my workshop and work on my projects/hobbies.

Until then, the prospect of making it big and working for my dreams will keep me occupied.

If we're just talking about a suitcase of money, and I can't convert it into some other form of wealth, just spend it on consumables... a few hundred million.
