How much you pay for parking?

I'm thinking of shelling out $85/month for parking next to my apartment. It's underground and protected. Then about $70 for parking at my school for a term.

After that I'm probably going to stop paying for it. The school I will be attending in September will be 2 blocks away plus whatever distance to get to class. I'm only doing it because of my schedule that I will be having. I don't need to waste time with parking.

Nothing. The car rental firm I work for has tons of parking, obviously. We even have a heated garage/wash bay that happily fits two cars. I'll put it in there to warm up on really cold days. I'm one of two employees so it's not like it's ever going to be an issue.

When I interned at Rogers Broadcasting, I got free parking after a certain time. I think after 4pm the underground garage was free to employees. Not many people in the building at night.

At home, I live in a house with a two car driveway.

$150 a month, valet at my apartment. I walk to work, so I only take my car out on weekends.

Lol new york. That place is a liberal wet dream. They were so successful at stopping urban sprawl that a parking stall in nyc cost more than bdget rent in some places.

$700 a year to park in a parking garage at my college. With federal aid, I don't pay a dime.

I was paying $800 a year for a parking spot. The alternative was paying $250 a year to park a mile away and take a bus the rest of the way. Now I live within walking distance of a bus stop, so I pay nothing.

I have a 4 day work-week... 3/4 days, I drive to work (either because there's street parking available or I'm working out of an office with its own parking lot). on the 4th day, I'll usually walk to the subway and take the train into the city, but if the weather sucks or I'm running late, I'll drive to the train station and pay $10 to park. there's a cheaper lot across the street, but it's not 24-hours and I never know when I may get stuck at the office until some ungodly hour.

usually averages out to $20/month

I used to pay $150/month for work parking, but I worked overnights in a bad neighborhood. the expensive parking lot was directly underneath my office building, so I could park, hop in the elevator, and never actually have to be out on the streets with the crackheads.

Nothing as it's called owning land to park the vehicles on.

Think the nearest place that even has parking meters is about a hour away and even then that's just downtown.

$0

Don't really have any intention of ever living a big city where I'd have to do crap like pay some big amount of money per month to park.

Holy shit, look at those UCLA rates.
