Dad every day (he moved in with me).

Sisters about once a month.

Grandmother once every couple of months.

The only person I TALK with regularly is my brother, moderate contact with a few cousins by texts and facebook. Barely any contact with anyone else.

I call my parents once/week and drive up to see them once or twice a month (though more rarely now that I work weekends)
I don't call my sister ever unless I need to talk to her for a reason (and she never answers my calls anyways ><) but we "talk" on facebook all the time
I talk to my brother-in-law every day, though

Same for me. I talk with my dad ~3-4 times per year. My mom less than that and my sister about the same.

It makes me happy not to have to interact with these people. My wife and I invited 25 people for Thanksgiving this weekend (I am Canadian), so we wouldn't have to sit around talking to our folks. We will be too busy cooking and serving food while the 25 people can entertain themselves.

Family dinner every Monday. I'll usually go by my parents work (hardware store) once a every week or two to pick up some stuff and talk to them. Hang out with my brothers randomly.

I see my wife's family a little less often. They don't have a weekly family meal, but we do tend to go to a lot of her little brothers sporting events. We also have to go to a wedding with her parents tomorrow.

I live 3000 miles away from my parents, brother and sister, and I've got 5 kids of my own.
I usually talk to my mom once or twice a week. I talk to my dad maybe a couple times a year. They are divorced and my dad's kind of an asshole.
I probably talk to my brother and sister a couple times a year too. I'm 38 and they are 18 and 20, so we don't have a lot in common.

I know that for me, I dont talk to my mother because she is a meth addicted tweaker who is ruining my brothers life filling his head with delusions that he is going to be a pot grower for people with medical green cards. As far as my dad, he tried to kidnap me and my sister when we were 4 and 5 years old and took us from CA to WA for a while, and we haven't seen him since he got arrested and we were sent back to our mother.


Luckily, my sister and I got away from her pathetic influence by going to live with our grandparents, so we are still close and I talk to her all the time.

I talk to my grandmother occasionally when she is around, but most of the time she splits her time between OR and cabo san lucas, so she has that going for her.

They're in Michigan, I'm in Arizona - 3 hour time zone difference right now, which makes catching them after work a little difficult. But I typically call them in the car as I leave work, so every day or every other day.
