How often do you use the word "like"

Watching a tv series based in Orange County, and the most repeated word they use is "like"

ie, "This is like, you know, the best way to go" blah blah blah like blah blah blah like blah blah.

I like totally like never use the word like in a sentence. Like totally never! Like I wouldn't like get caught like dead! using like that word.

Like is used in place of "um" around here ... a filler word.
