How often do you wash your vehicle(s)?

Once a week now. We just moved to a house with no garage, and the birds are haveing a field day with my car

My previous two cars I would run through the car wash every week or two.

I just picked up a brand new car and I've been pretty religious about keeping it clean. Hand wash and dry with microfiber towels about twice a week. The wheels get coated in brake dust which drives me nuts.

Not as often as I should. I live in an apartment so I have to take it to the car wash, which usually isn't convenient to do as most in the area close at 5. I'll have to take it to the self-service one tonight, though... the poor thing is filthy from this weekend (yay rural Vermont roads).

I take it through a local "quick detail" place every 3 or 4 months. A half hour later and $35 poorer, it comes out better than I'd do myself.

Personally soap and water scrubbing with a rag is fine for me even though the rim design means a lot of work. Just seems like a lot of wasted product spraying all that onto each wheel every time.

Not often enough. Apartment living sucks. I try to get them to car wash at least once a month. At least its underground parking at night. I also park in a structure at work so that helps with cleanliness too. My wife's is the worst since she's parked outside all day.

Yeah, because only shallow females like a clean car. I personally wouldn't want to interact with a female who saw a dirty ass car that only gets washed once a year and was still interested in getting to know the dude. But that's just me. There's this thing called 1st impressions, I don't see how a dirty car could possibly be a plus when it comes to a 1st impression.

It's not about nice/shitty things, it's about having some fucking pride in yourself.

So i have no pride in myself cause i dont feel like i need to wash my truck/car every week/month? And if a girl saw my dirty truck and wasnt interested, id be glad to know since that right there tells me she isnt the type of girl i would want to be with any ways.

Sorry but i actually use my truck...as a truck. Hauling things, going off the beaten path, down the dirt roads to camp, ect. It constantly has a layer of dirt on it and the only part that does constantly get washed is the back window on the canopy (when i have it on) since it makes it hard to see out of when its caked with dirt.

Same with scratches and dents. I dont go crying when it gets a small scratch or ding. I always laugh when i see guys with big F350's and Tundras and they get a small scratch and throw a hissy fit. Its a truck, its made to take the abuse.

I'll try those next. That Armor All Wheel Protectant stuff mentioned earlier was only semi-effective.

I tried to wash my car at my new house but found out the thread for the hose on my water hookup is worn out and I can't screw it on.

So, I can't even tell you the last time I washed a car

I owned my pickup for about 3 years before I sold it and I think I washed it 2 or 3 times. It has to get pretty bad for me to care. I keep the insides clean though.

Also it helps that I buy cars that are hard to see dirt and have a garage.

I've probably gone through more bottles of detail spray than I have washed my cars in the past 10 years. Only wash them after a long road trip or if it has been a really long time. The Corvette got its first wash of the year last week.
