how often should i swap out my shower towel?

i've gone 3 weeks when i was too lazy to do laundry. that happens a lot.

Bacteria lives quite well in the bathrooms. The environment couldn't be better... the warm moist air and all the bacteria you bring home ends up living in the bathroom. and when you "wash" w/ soap shampoo etc... a lot of the bacteria still gets caught in the evaporation and the water is not hot enough to kill them off. Therefore, if you think it's clean to leave towels in for over a week... good luck. I'd be crazy to leave it in for over two days.

Edit: not to mention all the minerals and chemicals that comes from the water. All the H20 dries up but Flourine, Chlorine and other minerals still remains in the towel.

Bacteria isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ever read about the sterile chicken experiment? They lived in a sterile (bacteria free) environment. When exposed to the outside world they died fairly quick.

Every other shower... My towels dont air dry too well in this humidity. So they get dingy quicker and I hve to wash..

Naked, Freshly showered me + Huge industrial fan on 'high' setting = No Towel Laundry.

Plus I feel cleaner too. And no, there will be no pics !

i knew a guy that used his towel once, same with his clothes, toothbrush, etc....

there are quite a few celebrities into 'air dying'

I don't use towels my wife and about a half dozen of her friends fan dry me.
