I am 26 with two kids... I am finally growing out of Video Games. The exceptions are flight sims and racing simulations... I admire 3D graphics so much that I have the hardware to run any game I want, but never spend any time gaming :-(
I dunno, games are just not fun anymore. I try to play them, but I just cannot. I can race around in TDU, but I only like that for a realism and because now that I am married, I cannot own any nice cars (I miss my Bimmer). :-(
However, my Dad, who is 57 years old LOVES video games. He plays every evening is in a clan and has a new gadget everytime I visit him. I mean, he has IR-Tracker (Very cool, BTW... I just can't fork over $200 for it) and has flight pedals, dual joysticks, 42" Plasma and plays BF2, FSX, FEAR, CFS3 and CoD2, etc... Crazy... But I guess once your kids move out you lose your life and have to refind it... I am sure that is why he plays games and is probably the reason I don't play them much anymore. Kids take your time, are you passion and then once they leave, you have go to second best (video games). Yep, that is my train of thought and an sticking with it.
