-edit--had a commodore in the garage. I got the NES a full season after it's release.
Before that, I spent hours playing the table style Galaga arcade at the local pizza joint. That lasted years. I still play it once in a while. It crashes after 999,999 points.

Almost 26. Started with the NES package that had Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt as the pack-in. My folks bought it for me when I broke my leg and couldn't do much else.

I'm 25, my dad had a "Commodore" as early as I can remember but I was too young to know the model name. I remember seeing dots go across the screen and asking what they were. He said someone was sending him games over the phone line. Years later I realized my old man was a pirate.

I did play that quite a bit, but my addiction really started when I got an NES in 1988 along with the pack-in RaiderJ mentioned & the first two Legend of Zelda games.

22 about to turn 23 (I feel so old !) Started computer gaming back on the old 286... it wasn't special but it was certainly :heart: at first sight. Nintendo was my first console though.
