I remember that song in the summer of '93 way more ... I would have been 17

I was 21. That was the year I got my BA.
Are you able to use it? I've heard that BAs are BS.

I was able to use it to get my JD, which is actually useful. Honestly, other than technically-specialized degrees like nursing and engineering, most undergrad degrees are only useful in that they demonstrate you are capable of earning one.

Not true. Many jobs now require a degree in something. Most law enforcement for instance, or just about any teacher. Also, in my experiences, many supervisory or management positions come down to who has the education (though not in corporations necessarily). Undergraduate degrees are fine for these positions.

I'm so very sorry. Truly, my condolences.

On being in so long that is, not your age.

I wish I had finished my 30 years in now...
rather be in the Navy than in the outside world these days..
travel.. air conditioned ships with internet access and movies and video games aroudn the clock..
Navy was a blast.. sat through Desert Sheild and Storm watching VHS tapes and playing Nintendos..

On the flip side, when I was in the Air Force several years ago, I spent 18 months in a tent in French Morocco and the only thing we saw was sand.

It had good points...but being forced to participate in things I held morally reprehensible (not to mention a violation of national and international laws) or face punitive actions was simply unbearable to me.

I was FLY!

buwahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha

No kidding. I hope Scar is BSing us. I mean, there are some fads that seem cool at the time, then become silly in hind-sight. Wearing your fvcking pants backwards was one of those things that was obviously seen as retarded immediately.
