I can't remember back to before I could talk...
I don't know when I first said "mommy" or "daddy" but I do remember being told that my first word was "cat."
I apparently did remember the day of my birth though, and that I didn't like it. My mom told me that when I was young, like maybe pre-kindergarten, someone mentioned a bright room, or something like that. That apparently reminded me of something that I said was "a long time ago," and I described a big bright room with a few people in it. I was upset too, because there was a lot of commotion, but mainly, I was really really cold.
This was before I knew anything about the birthing process, so my parents don't think I would have known enough to make it up. It seems that I remembered the day of my birth, and my first thoughts were, "Oh dammit,
now what???" and "Why is it so freaking cold?"
And to this day, I don't like being disturbed when I'm busy with something, and I hate being cold; it makes my body feel like it wants to just shut down and hibernate until it gets warmer. One of my classes is now intensely air conditioned, seeing how it is now above freezing outside. It might have only been 65F in there, and within a few minutes, I was literally shivering.

shall we also try to recall when we took our first steps and when we stopped breastfeeding?
Alrighty then. When I took my first steps, I waddled right over to my dad; my last step wound up kicking him in the region from whence part of my DNA came.
Breastfeeding, no, I do not remember any of that, but then, I haven't ever really tried to access said memories.
