Professional opinion: if you live at home past the age of 25, people begin to wonder one of two things:
Financial disaster or mama's boy/girl.
Why would that hint at financial disaster? Maybe they just have a shitton saved up in the bank.
Because at some point you lose out on too much of life by living at home. While with your parents it's much harder to make new friends, find potential girlfriends or boyfriends, and get out of your comfort zone. Moving out is very good for building character and allowing a person to figure out how they want to live their life.
The one caveat is that you need a stable foundation before leaving or its not worth it. For me the balance was living at home until all my student debt was paid off and I had a solid high paying career(3 years).
Friends and bfs/gfs only cost money.
Friends are overrated. Yes. Woman on the other hand. Lemme tell you son. Worth the price of admission.

My point is that I've never heard of someone going bankrupt because they didn't have a girlfriend/wife.
please research more then. Avoid things that put you into harms way.
I don't count requiring a sugarmommy to compensate for ones own financial issues as a fair example.
This should have been in L&R.
what?
Give an example outside of that where no gf/wife = financial ruin.
i have never seen such a scenario occur
why? it has nothing to do with L or R.
What isn't clear? The number of men that require a woman to mooch off of financially is small. Give an example outside of that where no gf/wife = financial ruin.
Had a childhood friend that lived at home until his 30's. Didn't save a dime, had 2 cars, a couple motorcycles, school loans and pissed money away the entire time. He never had to learn responsibility because his parents gave him everything. Wasn't financially ruined, but also had nothing to stand on. Really no better off at 30 than a kid coming out of high school.
You have no experience to even talk about this.
Again you are just attacking me.
I have known many kids like yourself living "with the 'rents" past 30. They brag about saving money and shit, but seriously they don't have a penny even. They have nice cars, clothes, computers, consoles, good times with their "Bros", and then there is you.
Good luck with it.
