I was planning installing W7 on the SSD with freq used programs, and use the WD for media storage and not as freq programs. Should I do it that way, or put everything on the WD and use the SSD for SRT?
I have mine set up that way and it seems to be working very well. I'm having an issue getting the system to write new data (downloaded music/photos/data) to the HDD instead of the SSD, I need to find a fix for that.

Go with win 7 and most frequent programms on ssd. probably the simplest setup.
Another option would to put win 7 and ost frequent apps on 80 Gb ssd partition and use the 40 gb as a cache for the HDD. but i'm actually not sure if that is possible.
