Over the years I've become a rather accomplished piano player, and I find myself every now and then accompanying people when they need to sing at church, weddings, special occasions, etc... Anyway, this Sunday I'm helping a gal with a song she wants to sing. Just right after I agreed to do it(which I agreed to do because I just like to accompany people on the piano), she sent me this curious e-mail:
Thanks so much for being such a great guy. I really appreciate all the work that you do... I happen to think you are a wonderful musician and I am always impressed by gentlemen who can play the piano and/or organ. Thanks a lot for all your help.
Maybe I'm reading into the note too much, but do you think she likes me?
UPDATE: I just talked with her on the phone. She now wants to take me out to lunch after we practice on Saturday, which I'm fine with. So, we're now going on a mini-date of sorts. Of course, bear in mind I'm not totally interested in her, but she's not one I'd necessarily push away, either. This one is still way open to interpretation, I think.
