the people of these countries are opressed and brainwashed, they aren't able to just help themselves. exactly what we could do to help isn't easy to figure out, but if these were christian countries, the american population would want to help.

A lot of dumb posts by you in the thread. Do you realize that as a superpower, America wants and needs to "police" the world in order to keep what they have (Hint: it's power).

If countries didn't depend on the US as a superpower then the US couldn't implicate their policies in the respective country, and that country will go to other rising powers (China) instead. This leaves the US with less power and other potential future superpowers with more, and that's the last thing we as a country want.

America is where it's at because of the relationships it has with other countries and the dependence those countries have on the US. In return, we can set policies to "control" them and keep them dependent on us.
