Haha. Wow.

You really stepped into that one.

Curry is 6'3"....Last I checked, 6'3" is considered VERY tall, even in Norway.....regardless....an even taller person, like Lebron, is still universally considered as the best bb player in the world.

If "Tom Cruise short", fast, coordinated guys would run circles on tall guys, the NBA would be a very different league than what it is today.

.....Using anecdotal evidence of your tall awkward brother to generalize tall people as unhealthier/clumsy is not the way to go about it, my friend.

Advice: Don't quit your day job and become a lawyer using your existing logic system.

My existing logic is called science, specifically physics and biology. Only a lawyer would try to argue that.

Define "very tall".

Also state some serious scientific research.

Don't use outlier freak sample size of 7'+ either.

That's like saying obese 400lb live less.....No shit! Any abnormal size metrics are more likely to lead to some issues.

Two seconds on Google, but that you pretend to be unaware of this shows that you're just afraid of your inevitable early death (which you should be).

No use quibbling with you.

Have your last say with your stupidity.

You may call me stupid and lay down whatever insults you please. Kicking and screaming doesn't change reality. Short people live long and and tend to be healthier assuming all other things being equal. I say this is a reasonably tall person from a family of tall people. Physics dictates that longer arms and bigger bodies can't change direction as quickly as smaller ones. Every study ever done shows that being smaller generally means a healthier life assuming all other factors being equal. On the other side of the coin tall people tend to be looked to as leaders from an earlier age, possibly because they look more like adults, and therefore get an earlier leg up on leadership experience. As a result they also tend to be paid more and have more confidence. Not to mention being large certainly helps you in contact sports.

You still haven't answered my question.

DEFINE TALL.

Then site a scientific study that specifically proves that TALL COHORT lives less.

.....Then I will come back at you to argue that you're purposely using a a size that fits within that study that you link to make your point.......Then I will counterclaim that your "definition" of TALL isn't what most consider tall and then I will challenge you to create an ATOT POLL thread to define what most people consider "TALL". Then, based on the #1 answer on ATOT, I will challenge you to find a study that says that COHORT lives less apples to apples. Then I will challenge that study with a counterstudy based on said variables and cohorts applied.

And on and on and on it goes.....

Bottom line: You cannot win this game. It's unwinable from either side. Quit while your ahead.

My point as to counterargue the dolt BudAshes that simply claiming tall people are unhealthier and clumsy based on anectodal evidence of his tall clumsy brother does NOT make universal fact to lay such a claim. To say otherwise is to come across looking a like fool.
.
.
And it's too fucking easy to use Google to find some stupid study claiming something GENERAL to make a point. Yes?...

Here. Lets play.

Let's Google: "Taller people live longer"

First link in Google: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-53440/Why-taller-people-live-longer.html

Get my drift?

The studies define tall in the abstracts, are you illiterate? You can't compare longevity in medieval times (your study) to longevity today; obviously being taller and stronger is advantageous when most of the population was performing demanding physical labor and when melee combat predominated. If the world goes to hell and every man has to fight for food to the death, you may live longer. Otherwise, you're more likely to have a stroke or cancer at an earlier age, as are your tall children and other tall relatives. Enjoy.

waist I'm not sure, I think I'm like a 34 pants size.

I need to lose a bit of weight, but not really that bad I don't think.

38"???

I don't know what my waist really is. I like my clothes roomy, and don't like trying things on. 38" is guaranteed to be big enough, and I'd rather wear something two sizes too big than one size too small.

6'7 and 250 or so, 37" waist, 36" pant size on average....I've had the same belt on the same notch since I was 22, and I can go about 40 pounds without changing pant sizes. Oh the wonders of being tall.

Well agility can be trained to a degree, a lot of it is based on musculature and your ability to move your body quickly. So sure, tall people can be agile if they work at it or are freaks of nature. Shorter people just have less mass to control and lower center of gravity, so they generally have an easier time of it.
