I hope that is true, but it you go into the Catalyst Control it says it is using 1115 of shared memory, I would agree that it probably is dynamic but it specifically says it can be set up to 1919MB or hypermemory with it currently set at 1407MB but there isn't anywhere that you can adjust that, so I am wondering if that is dynamic or if it is actually set at 1115 shared memory on a regular basis?
If it wasn't a laptop, I'd say to check the options in the BIOS, particularly if it was a system you made yourself and you could probably set a hard limit.
Anyway, how much RAM does your system have overall? What OS are you running (and is it the 32-bit or 64-bit flavor)?
You might want to read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypermemory
-I read that as the OS does not make an active distinction between RAM for integrated graphics and system RAM.
I doubt you could ever even use that much RAM for video usage just because the limiting factor in your system is the speed of the integrated chip probably followed by its memory interface with the system.
I guess in some round-about way, I'm saying not to worry about it.
