You have been given evidence and your responses show no indication that you even understand it.

For example, humans have the same tail gene as mice thus proving that we have a common ancestor with mice. This gene is almost always suppressed in humans but very rarely a human is born with a tail. If God created us, why would he put in a gene for a tail and then deactivate it?

These points do not require even an average intelligence to understand. When you pretend not to understand them, you are in effect attempting to convince us that your intelligence is below average. Why don't you just attempt the refute the points?

Understanding and accepting your conclusion based off of them are two entirely different things. What this could be is evidence of common descent, not that mutation and selection has the creative power to make humans out of microbes over billions of years. So yeah, I'm not going to run around refuting irrelevant points to my question.

"Proven" becomes "proven useful" without blinking your eye. Then you act like that is what you said all along. Words matter. I wouldn't have said anything if you said that originally. One could argue against that it is proven useful as well. The theory is making wrong predictions left and right.

You can't demonstrate using scientific journals that mutation and selection is an adequate mechanism that to cause a self replicating molecule to turn into people, pine trees, and blue whales. It simply doesn't exist. It an article of blind faith, your bluster notwithstanding.

You have achieved negative intelligence. You are less than an atom. Please release your atoms from their current prison, so that the rest of the universe can put them to serviceable use.

I'm not saying what I believe is scientific fact.

You claim it has a scientific basis when that's merely justification after the fact.

Just because current evolutionary theory doesn't fill in all the gaps that doesn't mean God did it. It just means that our understanding is incomplete.

wow, it must have been an amazing day of buckshitting in this thread. I spent my day touring Mt Vernon and learning about our founding fathers that were, quite factually, extremely skeptical of the mystical nonsense that buckshit still seems to believe is profound truth.

good thing that buckshits and shatters like himself were always too stupid and too powerless to try and do something like found a country.

One might say that it was a profound stroke of humility, fairness, and perhaps genius, to allow for the freedom of people like buckshit to be unapologetic idiots in public, and claim with great confidence that their diseased opinions are some form of "Fact," ...but I can say that the nearly 250 year experiment in this avenue has been a failure.

I think it is imperative that, for our country to survive, we do not allow products like buckshit to result from our education system. There needs to be a foundational education that covers the scientific method, logic, and that all of this is divorced from arguments of faith, so as not to confuse simple people like buckshit. These people are poison for an enlightened population. It is pretty much a failure on all of our shoulders that people like buckshit exist.

Sadly, reddit would have to adopt the rules of Change My View to its entire structure, otherwise bubbles of delusion and circular logic will always find friends and reinforcement.

Also, I don't mean sadly. I would be overjoyed.

Not at all, and it's accurate.

Your beliefs are truth in your eyes, but you know they can't be verified as fact. So you dance some more.
I believe it is fact. That part was inaccurate. I am not claiming that what I believe is "scientific fact".

Of course you cant, it's not a repeatable event.

Beliefs aren't facts. And your so called facts can't be verified, directly sourced from a book written by numerous men, over a thousand years ago.

The gene you're talking about is Wnt-3a. It isn't a "tale gene" really, it appears to just stops the development of the spine during gestation. Sometimes this breaks and the spine keeps growing. There is no "tale gene". Genes code for individual proteins not for appendages. Two separate species having this gene doesn't prove common descent between the two species.

Regress into Theocracy. That'll fix...umm..err what?

What to do? First, don't follow them off that cliff. Most of the West isn't, but the US has been rushing towards it for decades now and in fact is closer than ever to going over it.

First you have to acknowledge the problem because the fingers have been pointed in all the wrong directions in the US.
Leftist ideology like feminism has the built in implicit premise of creationism.

Pointing the finger at the jebus folks is pointless when state funding now pushes creationism and it has become a core tenant of the democrat party.

Says the canadian, where your ilk govern freedom of speech has died.

And now you hope to impose that censorship on the world.

Not that you have the power, but it says everything that your country would try.

A fair bit of my posts on here were arguing against creationism, so don't even pretend that I don't understand this stuff.

Feminism and leftist ideology is an assault on science, and the parallels to fundamentalist religion simply cannot be ignored.

The weak arguments are simply weak. You can't explain why you believe this nonsense and you get upset and start calling people names.

All I'm asking is that you people who think this is a scientific fact and that you're dumb by definition if you don't believe it to do is to demonstrate that the mechanism of mutation and natural selection could actually build nervous systems, sexual reproduction, flight, blood clotting cascades, brains, consciousness, whatever else and you can't do it. It is an axiom of your faith that can't be questioned.

https://blogs.scientificamerican.co...tten-russian-experiment-in-fox-domestication/

This Scientific American article is a plain language description of a 60 year long Russian experiment demonstrating speciation of foxes into a dog analog through selection of traits.

After 40 breeding generation in addition to exhibiting increased domesticated behavior (the selected for trait) compared to the wild fox control the foxes exhibited:
  • Physical changes to their ears (drooping)
  • Changes to skull, jaws and teeth
  • Lost their musky scent
  • Changes in the functioning of their hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis with decreased adrenal hormone response
  • Lengthened breeding times
If they continue the experiment eventually the domesticated foxes will no longer be able to breed with the wild foxes and be a completely new species.

Why are you continuing to lose over and over and over again.

Here's how this argument works.

You use science.

Your opponent says things are complicated and shit, and then says God.

You. Lose.

Lose?

I'm using Buckshot.
While I don't expect him to accept what I post here he can't help but retain some real facts. Each one a seed that has the possibility of becoming a root that cracks his foundation of his ignorance.

It's also good to meet BS with facts for others reading along who maybe on the fence.

So as I've said several times. My responses aren't necessarily only for the ones they seem directed at.

Numerous posters look at the cartoon bullshit you post, complete with the youtube/facebook comments section level vids and links you "back it all up" with, and conclude that you simply have to be a cynical troll playing the long game.

I think there's a good chance that you actually believe what you post, that you live and breath in the hysterically deluded world you constantly regurgitate here, a real puke salad of whack.

It's not a compliment.

Meh, another one for the ignore list. Underoos isn't even a good negative example; it'd be like making fun of someone with a physical disability at this point.

Just so we're clear. Speciation is observed fact and I have no problem with it. I think I've been specific and clear in what I'm asking for.

Haven't evoked God once. I want him to use science to show that mutation and selection is up to the task.
