How to convert movie (wmv) to .bup, .vob., ifo for NERO?

I have NERO v.9 (purchased) and want to burn some DVD's from movies that came off of my camera (.wmv). However, when i attempt to begin the process by choosing files it seems that NERO only recognizes *.bup, *.vob or *.ifo formats. I can't seem to find help from within the NERO product - do i need to somehow convert first from wmv? and if so....how do i do that?

Much appreciated.....

P.S. I can burn an ISO version but it will only play on my PC and is not recognized by my DVD player that is connected to my TV and that is what i need to do.

Use Nero Vision program included with Nero... Create DVD.
