How to deal with freaking dell

Does dell have corporate executive customer service, for freaking two weeks they promising to pick copier that i cancelled and they shipped anyway, tell me their new policy no return labels airborne picks it up, i call airborne and no pick up in their system and dell keeps giving new dates and invalid confirmations

See if you can contact PAB, he has high-level contacts at Dell. He might be able to tell you how to proceed.

I sent my laptop in twice this month for the same problem and they wont fix it. I just got it back today and its STILL dying after 30 minutes. I would like that phone number as well.

PAB contacts wont respond, well now i got nice lady who said will send UPS prepaid labels and reps before told me they dont exist

dell csr sucks!

they took like 4 weeks to send in a replacement for my 17" LCD that airborne express lost. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent mine in TWO months ago - and even with PAB's "high level Dell contacts" - I still can't get my report on my LCD.

No idea "How to deal with freaking dell". Best guess . . . get a senior manager's 1) Full name; 2) e-mail contact; and 3) telephone extension at Dell and DOGGEDLY keep bugging that SAME manager. (it has been effective in getting everything but my TFT's report)

Because he's a loud mouth braggart (who thought he had Michael Dell wrapped around his finger, "Speed Dial 7".....LOL) whose probably banned from purchasing anything from Dell?

And . . . as John has pointed out - it's not really "outsouced" - the New Delhi gang are actually Dell employees (incredibly polite but hopelessly ineffective).

I'm lucky because since I work for a University, I can call my personal sales rep and HE will contact people and get stuff done. I think it's the whole fear that if they don't step up and honor their service agreements we'll find another vendor.

I didn't understand much of the original post because it seemed to be missing a few words. I would ask them for an airborne account number that you can charge the shipping to...then call airborne and give them that account number. It shouldn't be that difficult to get them to come pick up their stuff.

Are you speaking to them like you type? You may want to cut down on your use of the comma, and clearly lay out your ideas/problems.

no they're actually outsourced. if you call dell you stand a low chance of actually talking to a dell employee. customer service was still mostly US based last i checked, though. its tech support which is in india.

still the best service and support in the industry, if that tells you anything about the computer biz
