simply enough, just don't sell/buy monitor on the internet, sell/buy it local.. never buy monitor on the net anyway.. for a 100 worth of monitor and you pay half of that price for shipping? I can find a 20" sony local for only 120 used in good shape. why take the risk? That's plain stupid. If you have to sell/buy big stuff, go local.

well i'm assuming it was insured and there is the minimum $100 which is probably about what its worth since it an older monitor (20" apple multiple scan), then again, i dont think UPS gives you a claim, if you pack it that bad.

UPS will only pay if you say the box was damaged when you get it, if you accept the package and open it up, you no longer have any claim with them. They are @$$ hats about it.

amazingly the screen isnt scratched at all. apparently it was officedepot that the monitor was handed over to for packing and shipment via UPS.



anyways, it seems like this will all be taken care of i just put this on here because i thought the monitor looked funny.

trust me ive seen worse...

i work there.. people just dont use common sense when shipping, ive seen nikes, brand new get destroyed because they were in their orgional box and sealed with get this, scotch tape... i mean cmon, i could have fatred and that box would of broke.

pack em tight... so there is no movement when you shank the box and you'll be good to go.
