I work at a bank and after an IT audit, they wanted me to disable local file sharing on one of the computers. Does anyone know what the auditors are talking about?
You can disable file and printer sharing from the network connection properties. You can also use the Network Setup Wizard (depending on OS). You could remove all shares and admin shares from the drives if you had to do this manually.
