It works after removing or shortening the front white plasitc pin on the left hand side of the floppy drive. The pin is in fact a trigger to enable the writing ability of the floppy. When the floppy disk is write protected, the pin will not be pressed downward and hence the trigger is off. However, if the pin is shortened, the trigger is off no matter whether the floppy disk is write protected or not.
