Though iOS 12 has been well received by many people owing to its excellent responsiveness and intuitive user interface, some users might still want to switch to the iOS 11 version. Some people might want to downgrade to the iOS 11 version to experience some functionalities which do not work efficiently in the iOS 12 version. Here is how you can downgrade from iOS 12 to iOS 11 easily.
Step 1
Connect iOS Device to Laptop
The first step is to connect your iOS device with the laptop or the iPad to begin the process of the downgrade from iOS 12 to iOS 11 version.
Step 2
Select ‘Find My iPhone’
In the 'Settings' option, you need to click the 'icloud Settings' choice. After this, the user should select the ‘Find My iPhone’ option.
Step 3
Disable the Find My iPhone Option
The user should ensure that the ‘Find My iPhone’ option is disabled during the process to downgrade to the iOS 11 version.

‘Switch off the iPhone’

You will notice the connected iPhone details on your laptop along with the options to update or restore the iPhone device in recovery mode.

Choose IPSW for the iPhone
You can then select the IPSW for the iPhone from the web by accessing the IPSW downloads. You can select any signed version of iOS. Here ‘ iOS 11.4.1’ is chosen as shown below.
Step 9
Select ‘Download’
Now after selecting the preferred IPSW along with the iOS 11 version, you need to select the ‘Download’ option. Move the downloaded file to the desktop.
Step 10
Press ‘Shift +‘Update Option’
Now in the itunes screen on your laptop, the user should press the ‘Shift + Update Option’ to enable the downgradation process.
Step 11
Select ‘Open’
Now you will find the window popping up that has the downloaded file. Select the IPSW file and click ‘Open’ option.
Step 12
Select ‘Done’
Now the user should select the ‘Done’ option. After this, you will find the iPhone device connected to the laptop to get downgraded to the iOS 11 version.
