Back then there was no phone, computer, TV, etc. People relied on their brain for the most part and information retention was most likely quite high. I'm obviously not going to change anyone's opinion. I don't care. They say science and math are the two subjects that one should learn. But I would argue science and history are the two important subjects to learn. You can learn how tribes formed from the days of Pangaea all the way to today. How social class, religion and politics was created. How science created weapons of war, selfishness, cruelty etc. When you learn all of these things you have a more understanding of why people think how they think and why the world is such a shit hole, quite frankly.
