I'm confused on how to find out how many Watts my power supply is in my server.
I need to estimate it for the purchase of a UPS that will support this server along with the equipment already there. The Equipment there is rated at 1500 Watts.
I thought watts were found eaily by multiplying volts and amps together .
volts X amps = watts, I thought this was true but when I do it on my server I get 690 watts. (115 x 6).
I can't beleive that this power supply has that much watts. Its a Dell PowerEdge 1300.
Any clue?
