What happens if you go into system properties and click on the option to activate Windows (phoning MS may be necessary)?

Where did you get this copy of Windows from?

Aside from the obvious, a hardware change can trigger this. As mikeymikec mentioned, just tell it to active from system properties and see what happens.

Interesting that it still has the Win10 update in the system tray, even though it's currently not activated, or genuine.

I have seen other installs do that. If you click on the icon, it will start the process and then tell you that it can't update. But the little icon will stay there (unless you remove the updates that brought it there).

Could we see your control panel system page to see what message is being displayed here? Is this a genuine copy of windows and was it previously activated before you saw this message?

i downloaded ths from torrent before,was perfectly fine,i used 1 yr.Last one month it shows like ths
wenever i click somethng a window of ths will cum,its written resolve now..like tht
prev i activated ths,remove wat like tht,i tried same still not fixing the problem.

The best way to fix this is to purchase a legal copy of Windows and install / activate it properly.
