How to force Nero to burn above media's rating?

I have Nero 5.5.10.35 .
I also have some phillips CDR-80 media rated at 32X.

How do I force Nero to burn at 48 or 52X ?

You can try turning off the smart burn option or the determine maximum speed option. Be warned any disk burned like this are very likely to have lots of errors.

Check the disk for errors before you erase anything if you are making backups.

Yes, if you can disalble the "SmartBurn" or "JustSpeed" or similar on your burner, you may be able to force higher speed.
Some burners don't allow that function to be disabled. If you're burning CD Audio, then you'll get a better quality burn at 32x anyway - I never burn CD Audio at any drive's full speed.
