how to get rid of Antivirus

I just got some program called Antivirus...It will not let me open .exe files. I restarted in safe mode, ran malwarebytes, and then a-squared...i deleted the antivirus file that was associated with the virus. restarted back to normal mode, and it came back.

I went into the registry and deleted the file that a-squared said it already deleted. I don't know where else the file might be that keeps allowing it to redownload itself. i've had a similar problem before a while ago but not the kind that doens't allow you to open programs..i pretty much just kept running programs to remove viruses until it finally disappeared. i dont know how it happened...

If you had MBAM installed prior to the infection you may only need to rename mbam.exe to mbam.com. After cleanup be sure to rename the files back to .exe.

There is a security issue with some versions of Adobe Acrobat. That may have been the method of entry.

u sure it virus? could be trogen or adware. try hittin up hitmanpro, kills virus trogen, adware, viral infection, the works. run that shit after do any xxx watchin too. defnitely.
