how to get rid of sunburn?

i got a mild sunburn today playing baseball with some friends. it doesnt hurt or anything but i look really pink. is there any way to change the color of my pink skin to a more brownlike color? perhaps some particular type of lotion or something would work?

I tried some wonderful stuff last week down in Florida. I believe it was called "Ocean Potion." I had a bad sunburn, it turned into a tan overnight and there was no peeling.

Get some aloe vera gel, take a cool shower and slather it on after toweling off, should take care of it pretty quick (a day or so for me). You can buy that stuff at any grocery store or drug store, it's usually in the suntan lotion section.

theres some stuff that banana boat puts out... it's pretty good but i cant remeber the name of it.... it's a yellow lotion..... great stuff (put it in fridge and let it chill before use makes it even better)

if you burn easy, there's no way for the peeling to stop from happening. Your skin is burnt and toasted. it has to shed to generate new layers. in the mean time, you can put cold compress, aloe vera gel on it if it feels warm (heated) or starts hurting.
