No, but seriously - Why do you want to earn more money (specifically for the year of 2016)? Sounds more like a taxation question. Especially when you say "I NEED to make $5000 more in 2016".

You sound smart enough to be one of the few here with a decent sized nest-egg to be able to go places if you choose. So I'm just curious why you need a sudden $5k more.

Keep taxes in mind, if you need 5k you need to make 10k.

You could start by going through anything you spend money on and see if you can reduce that. And avoid any unneeded spending, run a tight budget etc. That might get you a few grand at least but it's a start. Maybe look if there's stuff you can sell. I need to do this myself actually, I have tons of stuff I don't use that I should look at selling. It's a pain in the butt though especially for stuff that's worth less than $100.
